Meet The Invitation Maker

My name is Janet and I warmly welcome you to Balloon Macaroon! I am a fun loving person partying all the way down under here in Melbourne, Australia! I used to work in a fast-paced professional printing press as a graphic designer and I have designed many things in my lifetime – logos, flyers, brochures, books, reports, all sorts of invitations (weddings, birthdays, corporate events etc.) and more.

I love what I do, and I gained a lot of experience with printing and design skills. Even though work is stressful, I have learnt a lot about the industry and myself. I have also met many interesting, amazing and successful people too.

What I have discovered from working in a printing press is: nearly half of the time (I really mean most of the time), people come in at the very last minute expecting us to make miracles happen. I remember those nights when I had to work overtime to create layouts and designs, proof-checked everything and made sure that the printing gets done.

I’ll be honest – it is a stressful process! People would get really desperate at the last minute that I can’t help it but to help them with my expertise. I often get compliments from my clients and 90% of them will come back to me to work with them on their next projects. I definitely love to help others and have them know that I’ve got their back.

I work from home nowadays because I like the freedom of choosing my own projects. I design invitations for Balloon Macaroon all because I love paper-based products. I have never been happier and customers are happy because they can edit the invitations themselves – all without my help! AND it is much quicker since files are delivered through instant download links – perfect for those who leave everything till the last minute!

I can think of no better way to share my electronic invitations with the world than through this website.

I also use Etsy as a platform to share my passion so more people can have access to my quick and easy party invitations.

Let me take away your party stress!

Sincerely yours,

Balloon Macaroon
